Tom Meares

Tom Meares is a BESS Trading Lead in Fluence’s Digital team. Fluence’s Mosaic™ algorithmic optimisation and bidding software is used by several dozen grid scale BESS and renewable generators to trade in the NEM’s wholesale markets. Tom works closely with Fluence’s Market Participant customers to help them build and operationalise their trading strategies using Mosaic, and provides oversight and analysis on BESS trading performance. Before joining Fluence, Tom worked on regulatory and market design problems at the Australian Energy Market Commission and Energy Security Board.
