Taryn Lane

Taryn has led Hepburn Energy Australia’s first community-owned wind farm for 15 years and also works as a consultant. The energy co-operative has 2,000 members, it owns and operates a public EV charging network and is currently building a 5MWh community battery at the site of the existing 4.1MW wind farm. Taryn is a 2016 Winston Churchill Fellow and was inducted into the Victorian Women’s Honour Roll in 2021. She currently serves on the board of the Smart Energy Council.
