
Sally Stahmer
Sally Stahmer is the HSE Director for the APAC region at Aquila Clean Energy, responsible for developing and implementing robust safety systems that drive positive outcomes. With over a decade of experience in sustainable environmental solutions and clean energy, she applies a riskbased approach to proactively manage risks, enhance decision-making and strengthen the safety culture within Aquila.
Prior to joining the company, Sally held key leadership roles across the renewable energy sector, including Head of Health & Safety, Fluence (AUS/NZ), where she led HSE initiatives for battery energy storage systems (BESS); Head of Health & Safety, Tilt Renewables (AUS/NZ), where she managed safety strategies for wind and solar projects; and HSE Manager, Biosar (AUS), where she oversaw health and safety performance in large-scale solar projects.
Sally holds an MBA and is recognised as a Certified OHS Professional with the Australian Institute of Safety. She is also an active member of StayLive NZ, a health and safety group for the electrical industry in New Zealand.
A passionate advocate for renewable energy and environmental responsibility, Sally has dedicated the last seven years to driving safety excellence in the clean energy sector.
